Echoes of Lucifer, the Morning Star
Isaiah 14:12-14 How art thou fallen from heaven, How art thou cut down to the ground, I will ascend into heaven, I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, I will ascend above the heights of the clouds;
Isaiah 14:12-14 How you have fallen from heaven, You have been cast down to the earth, “I will ascend to heaven; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; What’s the Difference? Look out! While claiming to have the same knowledge as God himself may have a calm quieting effect on individuals, it surpasses the ability of every created being on this planet. All of the “I will’s…” quoted above from the prophet Isaiah demonstrate how much the rebel angel Lucifer thought of himself and what he thought he was capable of accomplishing all by himself. When this lofty position of pride and arrogance is thought to have been attained by created beings as well, realize then it is but a short step to become like Lucifer who became Satan the devil, and likewise want to possess creative powers like God, and to even take God’s place on the throne of the Universe. Sadly, Lucifer’s pride and self-confidant attitude caused him to be ejected from heaven.
